Gred 316 tahan karat keluli is an austenitic grade of of corrosion-resistant steel with excellent strength, toughness, manufacturing characteristics and weldability.

Typical applications: Brewing and dairy equipment, evaporators, drums, barrels, heat exchangers, chemical and food processing, water treatment plants, chemical processing equipment, construction and marine fittings exposed to marine marine and polluted atmospheres.

Gred 316 is a member of the 18/8 Chromium Nickel family of austenitic stainless steels with 2% added molibdenum to improve corrosion resistance, particularly localized corrosion in chloride-containing environments. The very tough and ductile austenitic structure gives Grade 316 excellent formability and manufacturing characteristics.
